Number of functional panels and dimensions of a distribution board depend on project design solution.
- One input per distribution section;
- Two inputs per distribution section;
- Two inputs per two distribution sections with sectioning;
- Two main inputs + 1 backup input (from reserve power generation unit) per two distribution sections with sectioning;
- Two main inputs + 2 backup inputs (from reserve power generation unit) per two distribution sections with sectioning;
The switching devices used are either circuit breakers or load break switches
For automatic backup, the input circuit breakers and the section load transfer circuit breaker are equipped with motor drives, additional contacts and an independent tripping unit.
The automatic load transfer logic corresponds to the selected scheme and is based on a smart relay (controller). The use of controller allows to implement remote monitoring and control of automatic load transfer unit.
Depending on the customer's requirements, the scope of data transmission can range from collecting information of the status / emergency operation of circuit breakers to full control and signaling of the board status via communication lines (RS-485, Ethernet ...).
The electric connection between panels is implemented by oxygen-free copper busbars with the cross-section corresponding to the rated current. The absence of oxygen impurities in such copper significantly increases its electrical conductivity and strength.
- Form 1 – without internal separation, with plastrons;
- Form 2 – separation of busbars from equipment (external connection terminals are not separated from busbars);
- Form 2b – separation of busbars from equipment;
- Form 3a – separate compartments for busbars (external connection terminals can be located in one compartment with busbars), for each functional unit or switching device;
- Form 3b – separate compartments for busbars, for each functional unit or switching device, for external connection terminals;
- Форма 4а – Form 4a – separate compartments for busbars, for each functional unit or switching device (external connection terminals can be located in one compartment with functional units);
- Form 4b – separate compartments for busbars, for each functional unit or switching device, for each outgoing connection;
In basic design of the ID Main distribution board the separation Form 1 is used
The design of our LV switchgear allows to produce ID main distribution boards with withdrawable modules, and each module can have a function of status indication or control functions. Such design of ID main distribution board is used for applications when long term shutdown of the technological process is unacceptable.
