RME is an indoor gas-insulated switchgear for voltages up to 20 kV, designed for installation in distribution networks.
Constructive solutions
The RME consists of:
- Stainless steel housing filled with SF6 (at an overpressure of 0.23 bar) and "sealed" for the entire service life, inside which busbars and main circuits are installed, such as as a switch, a load switch, and a grounding disconnector;
- From one to four cable compartments for connecting to the line or to the transformer;
- A plastron with a mnemonic diagram and controls, as well as a secondary circuits compartment;
- Hand or motorised drive compartment;
- Grounding circuits with visible grounding contact position
