Ultima is a switchgear with solid insulation designed for distribution of electric energy in 6-10 kV networks with isolated neutral.

Ultima switchgear includes the following types of cubicles:
- Circuit breaker cubicle;
- Load break switch cubicle;
- Load break switch-fuse cubicle;
- Busbar connection cubicle;
- Earthing switch and voltage transformer cubicle;
- Earthing of main busbars cubicle;
- Auxiliary transformer cubicle;
- Metering cubicle.
Design
Cubicles of the Ultima switchgear consist of 4 sections separated by metal shields.
The vacuum cameras and earthing blades of each phase are separated from each other by solid insulation, each phase representing a separate unit.
The circuit breakers used in the switchgear cubicles are maintenance-free and capable of 10,000 switching operations under rated conditions.
The switching devices are equipped with a reliable motor-spring actuator.
The switching compartment, located on the front side of the switchgear, includes operating mechanism of the circuit breaker and earthing switch, as well as actuators, auxiliary contacts and external signaling devices.
The unit width ranging from 420 to 490 mm (depending on current rating) and front cable connection, allow Ultima to be installed in limited area.
