IDR-T is a three-phase dry type transformer with vacuum cast epoxy resin insulation. The resin contains additives that provide the coils with high strength and high degree of heat resistance (class F and H).

VPI transformer is a three-phase dry transformer with open windings, the insulation of which is fiberglass impregnated with a special varnish in a vacuum. This technology provides excellent mechanical characteristics and prevents fire or explosion. Similar to cast insulation, VPI insulation is also flame retardant and resistant to harsh environments.
