Execution of works on power supply Leather processing plant in the city of Zarinsk

Object: Power supply to the cattle leather processing and dressing plant in Zarinsk, Altai Territory
Purpose and objectives:
Goal: Construction and commissioning of two built-in substations with capacity of 1600 kVa and 1000 kVa. Installation of internal power supply and lighting.
Tasks: Within limited timeframe it was necessary to perform works on supply and installation of both external and internal power supply of the plant. Conduct commissioning of the equipment and hand it over to Rostechnadzor and the operating organization.

The project was implemented as part of the development of single-industry towns by Russian Leather Group and the Altai Krai administration. The construction was supervised by both regional and federal governments. During the construction, the customer changed the management team supervising the construction several times, but despite this, the work was completed in full and within the agreed timeframe.
Implemented design solution:
Within the framework of construction, 2 built-in substations based on SafeRing cells manufactured by ABB, IDR-T 1600 kVA cast-insulated transformers - 2 units and IDR-T 1000 kVA transformers - 2 units, 0.4 kV switchgear on ABB element base, 0.4 kV busbar lines were installed. Start-up and adjustment works were carried out, the object was handed over to Rostechnadzor, commissioned and handed over to the operating organization. The works were carried out within tight deadlines, due to the violation of the terms of preparation of the premises by the builders, as well as the failure to meet the deadlines of subcontractor organizations, the works were carried out on weekends and holidays. This project gave the company invaluable experience in working with complex projects and interaction with subcontractors.
