VK, one of the largest Russian technology corporations, implemented a project for the first stage of construction of its own data center. The best technological solutions for the main power supply system were applied to ensure reliable power supply of IT load and data center infrastructure.
Implemented design solution:
The 10kV switchgear is based on Ultima cells manufactured by ID-ENGINEERING. Ultima switchgears embody advanced technological solutions of the industry and have proven reliability. The protocols of the test center of STC FGC UES and delivery time of less than 8 weeks were the key arguments in favor of choosing Ultima equipment manufactured by ID-ENGINEERING. The 0.4kV power distribution equipment was realized taking into account the highest requirements to reliability, automation, data transmission capabilities and other parameters for convenient operation of the equipment. ABB switching devices were used as the element base. This became possible due to the ability of ID-ENGINEERING company to find solutions in the conditions of rapid changes in the situation. All equipment manufactured by ID-ENGINEERING has proved itself worthily at the complex tests of the data center.
